The Tactical-Technical Continuum is one of the most critical concepts in the Canadian coaching methodology (or any Game-Based methodology). The core of the concept is that all techniques only exist to achieve a tactic. Therefore, the connection between tactics and technique needs to be maintained. This article delves into the connection of tactics to technique and introduces the concept of the ‘Coaching Funnel’ as a useful way to provide practical technical feedback that improves play.
